Video: Floyd Mayweather’s uncle says an amateur boxer would ‘whoop’ Conor McGregor

Jeff Mayweather isn't buying Conor McGregor's claim that he'd be able to go toe-to-toe with his nephew Floyd Mayweather Jr. During an appearance on Conan O'Brien's chat show last week, the Notorious said he'd be more than happy to 'dance around' the boxing ring with Mayweather in return for $180 million. However, Jeff Mayweather, says McGregor would struggle against an amateur boxer, never mind the best boxer of his generation. "What you got to realize is Floyd's at the absolute top of the sport. He's not some nobody's just walking into the gym. Because one of these guys, even a top MMA guy, if he steps in a boxing ring, strictly boxing, he'd get his ass whooped by an amateur," the former boxer says in the video below, posted to Floyd Mayweather's official YouTube page.
