The next Irish invasion of Las Vegas is scheduled for early March.

Conor McGregor was still clearly pumped up when FOX Sports’ Ron Futrell caught up with him for a chat after the UFC 197 press conference.

The Notorious was asked about a step up to welterweight, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and whether he is prepared to forgo MMA rules to take on Money [he is].

However, it was when he was asked to describe just what the support of the Irish hordes means to him that he spoke from the heart. McGregor said:

“I’m taking my people global. It’s a very energising experience.

“We take over, that’s what we do. We arrive, we take over and take everything for what it’s worth and then we bounce.”
