It was a much more patient 'Reem' than we've seen earlier on in his career but his composure paid dividends as the opening materialised in the second round with a picture-perfect kick to Arlovski's jaw followed by a flush left hook. Overeem swarmed and despite his big toe having come out of place in the kick, the Dutch heavyweight got the TKO moments later. Depending on how Travis Browne and Cain Velasquez fare at UFC 200, we could be looking at the challenger for the winner of Werdum vs. Miocic, ladies and gents.
