UFC signs up one of Europe’s most devastating young fighters to multi-fight deal

Knockout power

Darragh Murphy

The UFC has just signed the man who did this back at BAMMA 22 in Dublin’s 3Arena.

Marc Diakiese is his name and starching opponents early has been his game lately, with his most recent pair of fights lasting a combined minute of fight time.

Diakiese, BAMMA’S Lonsdale lightweight champion, has impressed so much on the European circuit that he has been signed up to a multi-fight deal by the biggest mixed martial arts promotion in the world.

At 23, he has already developed into one of the most feared 155 lbers in Britain and he followed up the above knockout with this stunning finish at BAMMA 25.

Diakiese enters arguably the most stacked division in the UFC with an undefeated record of 9-0 and a well-rounded arsenal.

The Doncaster fighter’s last two fights might lead you to believe he’s a mere knockout artist but the Doncaster fighter has honed his ground game as of late and is maturing nicely from prospect to genuine threat.

We anxiously await the news of a promotional debut for ‘Bonecrusher’ but whoever it comes against, they best keep their hands up and chin down.
