Cathal Pendred was the first Irish fighter to take to the octagon at UFC Dublin on Saturday night and he didn't enjoy as fruitful a night as he did last July.
The Punisher found himself being punished by the outstanding striking of Birmingham fighter Tom Breese and Pendred never really got going.
His nose was bust open early on in the first round from the stiff jabs and crisp left hands of Breese who recorded his second consecutive first round knockout in the UFC by lighting the Dubliner up on the feet before finishing with relentless ground and pound, rendering the 3Arena silent.
