Surprise, surprise! Donald Cerrone wants to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov AND Patrick Côté

'Cowboy' gonna 'Cowboy'

If weight divisions didn’t exist, Donald Cerrone would fight every weekend.

The UFC lightweight turned welterweight turned whatever weight class you’ll let him fight in is one of the most active competitors on the entire UFC roster, with 20 bouts under his belt since signing with the UFC in 2011.

‘Cowboy’ is booked for a welterweight clash with Patrick Côté in Ottawa on June 18 but, not content to wait two months to fight, the 33-year-old has indicated a desire to sneak in a fight beforehand.

Cerrone has offered to step in for the injured Tony Ferguson at next weekend’s UFC on Fox 19 card where Khabib Nurmagomedov is currently without an opponent.

With Cerrone’s next bout set to be contested at 170 lbs, it’s understood that Cerrone would not be able to drop the sufficient weight to make 155 lbs so the Jackson Wink fighter is suggesting a catchweight contest.

And, credit to him, Nurmagomedov has claimed that he will fight anyone at any weight class as the undefeated Russian namechecked Cerrone, lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos and former champ Anthony Pettis.
