We'll admit it, we've often been confused with the way that Americans write dates and the format we use on this side of the Atlantic.
Glancing down at the bottom right hand side of the screen, it currently says 01/11/2015. That's January 11th for some. November 1st for others. And Eddie Alvarez's birthday according to the UFC. The calendar confusion all got too much for the person who runs the promotion's social media as they wished Alvarez a happy birthday, despite the lightweight not turning 32 until the turn of the year.
An honest mistake from a hungover social media coordinator on Sunday morning? Perhaps.
