If the UFC lightweight title was decided at the press conference, champion Rafael dos Anjos would have been stopped long before challenger Conor McGregor called the Brazilian a 'gringo'. The Dubliner has turned his trash talk on Dos Anjos ever since it became clear that McGregor would be allowed the opportunity to add the lightweight title to the featherweight belt, and the Notorious took things up a notch at the pair's press event last week. McGregor said he would send Dos Anjos 'home to California', before claiming that RDA had abandoned his Brazilian heritage by basing himself on American soil, adding that he needed to be booked into a hotel in his homeland for the UFC 197 press tour.
