Kevin Iole, the reporter who broke the story that the UFC were making plans to host McGregor v Aldo in Texas on 5 December, is usually as reliable as clockwork.
So it's hard to blame certain fans, Gavin McKinley one of them, for looking to get a jump on the rush by snapping up flights to Dallas as quickly as possible.
We're sure Gavin has had his head in his hands all morning since reports broke that the promotion had changed its plans and would now be featuring a welterweight title fight between Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit as the main event for UFC 194 which would be taking place on 5 December... in Canada.
Just in case you failed Junior Cert geography, Canada and Texas are pretty far apart but, hey, at least Gavin and his lady friend have a weekend away on the horizon.
You have to love the initiative though (trying to put a positive spin on it).
