But other domestic fighters had their own impact on the evening, one of whom is Antrim's Norman Parke.
Parke (20-3-1) announced that he is set to take on the undefeated Gilbert Burns at UFC Fight Night 67 in Goiania, Brazil.
While the May 30 bout has yet to be confirmed by UFC officials, Parke claimed that it was a done deal as he attempts to rebound from his January loss to Gleison Tibau (his first defeat in five years).
The fight card is expected to be headlined by a welterweight clash between former interim holder Carlos Condit and Brazil's own Thiago Alves.
