Warning: Very graphic

skull fracture

It should go without saying, but this article about a gruesome skull fracture contains very graphic content.

Just to reiterate, it’s VERY GRAPHIC. We don’t use that term lightly. We sometimes receive complaints about not giving people fair warning about just how stomach-churningly disturbing these pieces can be, so if you don’t mind that kind of thing, read on.

Now that it’s only us violence-loving degenerates left, let’s let French Muay Thai fighter Jeremy Balasse explain what happened to him in Thailand. Once you get through that introduction, check out the video below and if you aren’t so horrified to the point where you have to click out, stay with us for the happy ending this tale has.

“This is the video of the huge poke I received in combat, at the Patong Stadium in Phuket which caused me a fractured skull. Impressive wound and big scare! The following days were very difficult for me and especially my relatives, with a major operation to the head, So I wanted to thank all those who supported me again, it was incredible, and obviously very comforting.”

Sorry. but listen, you made the choice to watch it. We just nudged you in that direction.

The good news is Balasse is apparently doing great now. He underwent the surgery and got a titanium plate inserted into his head. Supposedly, there was no brain injury and he didn’t even feel dizzy.

That big ol’ dent in his noggin is nowhere to be seen now.
