The strawweight bout will be the first 2016 outing for both fighters, with Daly's latest fight resulting in a decision win over Ericka Almeida in Dublin last October and Waterson drawing the tap from Angela Magana last July. Aisling Daly 24/10/2015 And days after the fight was announced, the Jackson Wink fighter revealed that she believes she has Daly's strategy sussed. "I think she's a very unorthodox fighter," Waterson told reporters in Chicago. "She's fought bigger girls so she's nice and tough. She likes to come forward. "She's not afraid to get in there. She's not afraid to take a couple of punches and take it to the ground to finish you off which is what, to me, she likes to do is grapple . "I have no problem grappling so I think it will be a very interesting fight."
