Michael Bisping may be medically suspended until next April due to injuries picked up at UFC 204

Needs to be cleared by doctor

The medical suspensions for UFC 204 have been released and there’s no surprise that the winning headliner will likely be sidelined for some time.

Michael Bisping, who successfully defended his middleweight title in the main event on Saturday night, found himself on the receiving end of several overhand rights from opponent Dan Henderson.

The superficial damage was extensive but the H-Bombs must have taken a far more telling toll on ‘The Count’ and due to the injuries he sustained, Bisping has been medically suspended for six months or until he is cleared by a doctor.

Henderson’s medical suspension is much shorter but so too is it unnecessary given the fact that he retired immediately after the weekend’s bout.

Thank you!

Bisping’s next outing will likely be opposite the 185lber who wins most impressively in the upcoming fights between Chris Weidman and Yoel Romero, and Luke Rockhold and ‘Jacare’ Souza.
