The Notorious at his very best in spellbinding McGregor-Mayweather promo

How you like me now?

Patrick McCarry

Just over seven weeks out from the biggest boxing event of the year and momentum is building nicely.

“Conor McGregor… that’s his name?”

That’s what Floyd Mayweather Jr. asked back in January 2016. It serves as a superb kick-off for the latest, and one of the best, McGregor-Mayweather promos to come out since the fight was confirmed for Las Vegas on August 26.

Set to the wonderful sound-track ‘How You Like Me Now?’ by The Heavy, the new promo charts how both men got to the brink of what is set to be the biggest ever pay-per-view fight. There are sound-bites from ‘Money’ Mayweather but ‘The Notorious’ gets in some gems.

“Every single person doubted me. Every single fighter doubted me. Doubt me now!”

The McGregor-Mayweather promotional world tour is set to kick off in London within the next fortnight and the hype will go into overdrive from the very first moment the two men come face to face.

The official fight promos will be suitably bombastic and, if they are anything like this offering from AA Edits, they should be well worth your time.

McGregor certainly talks a good boxing fight anyway:

“I’m confident going in there. I’ve got the reach. I’ve got the youth. I’ve got the confidence. I’ve got the unpredictable style.”

It’s all coming together nicely…
