Marc Diakiese scores sensational knockout in UFC debut on home soil

There was a lot of hype surrounding Marc Diakiese for his UFC debut, and boy did the young British fighter deliver.

The former BAMMA lightweight champion kept his perfect professional record intact with a stunning performance against Poland's Lukasz Sajewski at UFC 204. 23-year-old Diakiese appeared to have a touch of the UFC jitters at the beginning of the opening round, but as the fight went on he really grew into the fight. With each punch landed, he stole a little more of Sajewski's soul as the Pole's output diminished with each passing second. Eventually Diakiese put him out of his misery (while putting him in a world of pain) by peppering him with flurry of nasty knees and fluid punches against the fence until he couldn't take any more and he finally hit the canvas at 4:40 in round two.
