Joe Schilling is sticking to his guns about the growth of Conor McGregor’s guns.

The Glory kickboxing star and training partner of Nate Diaz suggested that McGregor may be juicing in an interview shortly after it was announced that Diaz would be stepping in to fight the featherweight champion in UFC 196’s main event.

Now that the rematch has been booked to headline the landmark UFC 200 event, Schilling hasn’t changed his opinion on how Conor McGregor managed to pack on the pounds and move up to welterweight, despite a total lack of evidence that anything untoward is going on.

He told The MMA Underground that he believes McGregor is unable to drop down from 170 lbs because he’s using banned substances.

“If we’re going to talk about weight-gains and why he would want to stay at that weight class I don’t think it’s going to be that different when Nate talks about how you’re on steroids.”

“Now, you can’t get back down to that weight class, you’re stuck at that weight division because you got on steroids, but we’ll wait for Nate to say that, not me.”
