Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz have different views on what went down on August 1, 2015.

The UFC lightweights clashed at a World Series of Fighting event at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino four years ago, with teammates of both fighters squaring up before security intervened. Diaz was in attendance to support long-time teammate Jake Shields when he became embroiled in the melee with Nurmagomedov's camp, who was there for Khabib's cousin, Abubakar Nurmagomedov. The brawl is making headlines again this week due to a social media exchange between Diaz and the reigning UFC 155lbs champion.
