Jose Aldo wants the Irishman to prove he’s not taking any drugs.

Earlier today most MMA fans would have been very happy to see this image posted from Jose Aldo’s Instagram account.

It apparently showed proof of the featherweight champion submitting to the drug testing that it was claimed he was trying to dodge the last time he was due to fight McGregor back in July.

His quote on the post is translated into ‘One more for the account’ which is a clear dig at those who suspected he may have been using PEDs in his training.

However, after he submitted his drug test for analysis ahead of next month’s Las Vegas showdown, the undefeated champion called out the Irishman to prove his own body is free of PEDS.

According to news agency Combate Aldo is claiming that McGregor has not been tested while in training in Dublin,

“He is not being tested in Ireland and I don’t even know if they have a commission. This commission had to be from Vegas or somewhere. We proposed because  he asked so much, to be tested every week, both I and he, at the same time, but it didn’t happen. I’m being tested, they come here in the gym, I don’t see any problem”.

However, it seems that Aldo is very much mistaken as the US anti-doping agency report that McGregor has had four samples taken for analysis, the same amount as Aldo.

what

Four samples does not automicatlly mean that four have been analysed, but it seems very much that McGregor and Aldo are both being watched as closely as each other in the battle to have a clean fight.
