Most rational people would do everything in their power to avoid being choked by Jon Jones.
In the eyes of many, Jones will go down as the greatest fighter in mixed martial arts history and he is one of few competitors with no holes in his game.
The UFC light heavyweight champion has brutally knocked out opponents before, he has dominated every minute of five-round championship fights before and he has also rendered legends unconscious with vice-like chokes.
So what would possess a fan to ask Jones to put him in a rear naked choke is beyond us.
Perhaps the below Jones fan should have consulted Lyoto Machida before he requested to be choked out cold but 'Bones' wasn't going to turn down the request.
At the FIBO fitness event in Germany over the weekend, Jones granted an excited fan's request to experience one of the most common submissions in MMA.

After making sure that the young man was certain that he wanted to be put under, Jones sat behind him and gently locked in a rear naked choke.
The fan slowly drifted out of consciousness and once Jones felt him go limp, he rushed to revive him before the pair laughed and embraced.
It is frowned upon for UFC fighters to choke out fans because UFC President Dana White has previously worried that it could lead to lawsuits but it is clear in the Jones clip that the man asked for it and enjoyed the experience.
Jones' next defence of his light heavyweight crown will come this summer, when he will headline UFC 239 opposite Thiago Santos.
