That's what SBG head coach John Kavanagh had to say about Conor McGregor and the rumours surrounding his retirement.
McGregor tweeted on Tuesday evening that he intended to retire from MMA early and most had it written off as either trolling or a hack on his Twitter account.

But there looks to be some legitimacy to the plans as the head coach of 'The Notorious' sent a tweet seemingly confirming the news just an hour later.

McGregor was slated to compete in the main event of UFC 200 as he attempted to avenge his UFC 196 defeat at the hands of Nate Diaz but those plans look to have been scuppered.
The Irishman has fought eight times under the UFC banner, going 7-1 and claiming the undisputed featherweight title along the way.
There is no confirmation as of yet from the promotion but, if true, it will come as a massive blow as McGregor has solidified himself as the company's most reliable cash cow to date.
