Joe Rogan reckons Rafael dos Anjos could be the greatest lightweight of all time

Not long to go now.

There are just 31 more sleeps until we get to see one of the biggest super-fights in UFC history as Conor McGregor aims to make history by becoming the first UFC fighter to simultaneously hold belts in two separate weight divisions.

But it’s far from a foregone conclusion as he will come up against one of the most resurgent fighters in UFC history.

Dos Anjos didn’t exactly burst onto the scene. The reigning lightweight champion actually lost his first two octagon outings.

After putting a bit of a run together, Dos Anjos then lost to Clay Guida, beat George Sotiropoulos and lost to Gleison Tibau before it looked like he had gotten his bearings in the division but Khabib Nurmagomedov then took a comprehensive decision over him in 2014.

He appeared to be a middle of the road lightweight!

But since then the Brazilian has been perfect, going 5-0 which included a title win and title defence.

And that run has left Joe Rogan believing that RDA is up there with the greatest lightweights of all time, including the likes of BJ Penn, Frankie Edgar and Benson Henderson.

One of Rogan’s followers responded by pointing out the fact that dos Anjos had been dominated by Nurmagomedov but the UFC commentator believes that Dos Anjos’ improvement is enough to earn him a spot among the great 155 lbers.

The internet being the internet, everybody voiced their opinion.

Who do you think is the greatest lightweight of all time?
