Like many Irish MMA fans, we face a dilemma later. Stay up late to watch Conor McGregor face Nate Diaz after 5am, or go to sleep early, get a few hours rest and hope to wake up in time for the action in Las Vegas at stupid o’clock. Well thanks to a very clever entrepreneur from Dublin, you won’t have to worry either way. Gavin Pacini has created an app that will set off an alarm on your phone when the fight takes place, so if you sleep through it, well that's your own fault. gp Lucan native Pacini claims that the app will go off five minutes before the two welterweights come fact to face tonight. He will be up watching the fight, and when the time comes, he will send a signal to a server to set off the alarm and wake up hundreds of eager MMA fans. Oh, and the best bit, it’s totally free on Google Play. Genius.
