The Donegal man might have lost for the first time under the UFC umbrella, but the growing Irish appetite for mixed martial arts means Duffy should still prominently in the thoughts of the promotions matchmakers.
Duffy lost a unanimous decision to Dustin Poirier at UFC 195 last night, but UFC president Dana White revealed that the bout, which was the last fight shown on the Fight Pass platform before the start of the pay-per-view portion of the card, set a new viewership record.

The record won't be much consolation as the Irishman licks his wounds and waits for his next opportunity, but at least it helps ensure he won't be waiting too long.
