Ireland named as eighth best country in IMMAF’s world amateur MMA rankings

The future is bright for up-and-coming Conor McGregors as Ireland has been ranked as the eighth best country for amateur mixed martial arts.

IMMAF launched their inaugural world rankings today as they bid to make amateur MMA all the safer with more considered seeding.

As well as ranking the nations, the IMMAF have also revealed their number one seeds in each weight division and SBG's Frans Mlambo represents Ireland as the best amateur competitor at 145 lbs.
