Call us crazy but we don't think the anaesthesia had quite worn off when Frankie Edgar decided to fill us in on his successful surgery.

Edgar went under the knife this week to see to a nagging groin injury and the good news is that he's anticipating a relatively quick return to action. The bad news is that Edgar will not be ready in time for the UFC's Brooklyn event, the card on which 'The Answer' was eager to feature. https://www.instagram.com/p/BPGt4SClRhc/ Edgar last fought in New York, at UFC 205, where he recorded a unanimous decision victory over the heavy-handed Jeremy Stephens. The other bad news for the former UFC lightweight champion is that his "dick hurts." Well, actually, "around it hurts... the dick is OK." When pressed for assurance by his wife, Edgar responded confidently by announcing that "I feel it. It's down by my knee." Who doesn't love Frankie Edgar?
