Frankie Edgar goes all out in call-out of McGregor, says he can take a punch from all of Ireland

Frankie Edgar may respect Conor McGregor but that won't stop The Answer relentlessly calling for a chance to take him on.

The former UFC lightweight champion was literally the first to congratulate McGregor after the Irishman claimed the interim featherweight title with a second round TKO of Chad Mendes in the main event of UFC 189.

Edgar, who was overlooked when Jose Aldo withdrew from the original bout with McGregor as the UFC gave Mendes the shot, explained how he felt the UFC were protecting their investment in McGregor.
