According to the report, he got involved in an argument with a DJ at Albuquerque strip club Knockouts on Thursday before leaving the club. He returned later, but was denied reentry. He then allegedly began attempting to punch club employees before leaving a second time. Brandao returned again with a gun and allegedly pointed it at a patron and employee before striking a member of staff with the weapon. The fighter was arrested on Friday and charged with aggravated battery and three counts of aggravated assault. His bail was set at $15,000 and he left the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center on Saturday night.
