If you start a fight with a trained MMA fighter, be prepared to have them finish it.
UFC duo Leslie Smith and Heather Clark got into a spot of bother at a San Francisco nightclub over the weekend.
Jiu-jitsu guru Cesar Gracie recounted how things kicked off when a “malcontent male” groped the fighters’ friend as she entered the club, on his official Facebook page.
The unnamed female turned to Smith and exclaimed, “that guy just grabbed my a**”. The UFC womens bantamweight fighter then approached the man over the incident telling him “hey you can’t do that” which was met with a “f*** you I can do whatever I want”
Smith retorted, “no muthaf***** you can’t”, which seemed to strike a nerve with the man who proceeded to spit on her face and swing a punch at her.
Smith ducked under the punch and took the man to the ground. There, she swiftly took his back and applied a choke before landing some elbow strikes and punches.
The man was unable to fend off the better fighter;s attack and resorted to grabbing her hair to stop the onslaught. Smith’s friend and UFC strawweight fighter Heather Clark then intervened and delivered a running soccer kick to the man’s groin.
This gave Smith the opportunity to achieve mount and deliver a series of elbows until the man, until the man apologised. At this point, Smith disengaged and allowed the man to get up and go home while she along with her friends returned to the club.
