Eddie Alvarez played an absolute blinder with heavy bet on Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather

There was a lot of money being wagered over the Money Fight and Eddie Alvarez got in on the action.

Think about all the fight personalities who got lucky with the bets they placed on Conor McGregor's professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather. McGregor's ability to hang with arguably the greatest defensive boxer ever for nearly 10 rounds, and the fact that he was able to nick a couple of stanzas saved a lot of people's wallets and dignity. In two separate bets, Brendan Schaub saved himself a wad of cash and was spared having to show the world his penis. To Alvarez's credit, his bet came from a knowledgeable place. He predicted early success for McGregor, but if it went past the first few rounds, Mayweather would put him away. He pretty much nailed it.
