For the first time in his professional career, Donald Cerrone is riding a three-fight losing streak.
One-time UFC lightweight title challenger and multiple-time WEC lightweight title challenger Donald Cerrone was savagely beaten up by rising star Darren Till in UFC Gdansk's main event on Saturday.
From the opening exchanges, it was clear that Cowboy was outmatched by the Liverpudlian who's a decade his junior. Till lit him up on the feet in the first round and eventually dropped him with a vicious combination before finishing him on the ground.
The referee awarded the young prospect the TKO victory at 4:20 of the opening stanza.

"Cowboy" personified class with his reaction to the tough loss. He was quick to congratulate Till on the stellar win, having previously stated that he didn't know anything about the Englishman nor had he seen any of his fights.
He refused to make excuses and applauded Till for getting his gameplan right. He also confirmed that his nose was badly broken during the fight. He shared a photo of his contorted nose after getting hammered with a fist as well as an x-ray which illustrated the extent of the damage.
