The new featherweight champion of the UFC would seem to have the world at his feet after his stunning 13-second knockout of the promotion's former pound-for-pound king Jose Aldo.
The Dubliner's most likely challenge at 145lbs would come from Frankie Edgar after the American's knockout of Chad Mendes on Friday night, while McGregor has already talked about moving up to lightweight in a bid to become a double world champion.
But Aldo seems determined to step back into the octagon against the Irishman, claiming immediately after the decision was announced that it 'wasn't a fight' and that he wanted to 'get back in there'.
