Darren Till unleashes bizarre late night Twitter tirade on Ben Askren

It's hard not to read these tweets in a Scouse accent

Some top athletes allow PR professionals to take care of their social media.

We don’t think Darren Till will ever be one of those people.

It’s abundantly clear that Till runs his own Twitter account and he held nothing back in a very unusual Twitter tirade in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

Newly signed UFC welterweight Ben Askren was the target of Till’s social media rant, which featured references to the undefeated American’s mother, herpes and Step Brothers.

Till, who is scheduled to fight Jorge Masvidal in the main event of UFC London on St. Patrick’s weekend, got things started at 1.15am by photoshopping Askren’s face on to John C. Reilly’s on the DVD cover for Step Brothers.

Askren responded calmly, by suggesting that his offer to fight Till in London was rejected.

Then things took a bizarre turn as Till got a bit more unorthodox with his insults.

Askren again remained composed and his below tweet was his last message on the matter.

The Scouser wasn’t done yet though and continued his rant with several unanswered tweets that definitely tingled the appetite for a future Till vs. Askren clash.
