What a guy!

Dana White gets a lot of stick off MMA fans, but sometimes he does some incredible acts of kindness.

For a few minutes, forget about the empty promises, the fighter feuds and making up punishments for Conor McGregor. Let’s focus on some of the good deeds UFC president Dana White has done.

In 2010, White donated $7,500 towards cancer treatment for British toddler Ruby Owens. In 2017, he arranged for a six-year-old leukemia survivor named Ashlynn to go backstage after the UFC 214 weigh-ins to meet all the fighters. He also treated Ashlynn and her guests to tickets inside his personal seating section at the event.

In 2010, he helped save the life of Thai infant Tuptim Jadngooluem.

Tuptim, daughter of former World Muay Thai world champion Rattanachai Jadngooluem, required a liver transplant and the family were in desperate need of help. Fundraising began for the $50,000 procedure, but by the time White heard about it, they were only one-fifth of the way towards the goal.

White stepped up, reached into his pocket and paid for the then-seven-month-old girl’s operation.

Eight years later, White stopped over in Phuket on New Year’s Eve to meet Tuptim and everything appears to be going well.

What an amazing story. Fair play!
