Could Brock Lesnar be on his way back to the UFC after “shouting match” with Vince McMahon?

This could be huge

While we’re never too sure what to believe when it comes to professional wrestling, it sounds pretty legit that Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon have had a genuine falling out.

According to Dave Meltzer, Lesnar and McMahon got into a shouting match just days before the former UFC heavyweight champion was in attendance at UFC 184 in California.

The incident, as described on CageSideSeats, went as follows: “There was a heated, loud discussion where Vince and Brock were yelling and screaming at each other, loud enough where other people were concerned, especially for Vince because it really sounded bad.”

On his radio show, Meltzer also claims that: “WWE of late has been trying to insert unusual stipulations into their talent contracts like extended non-compete clauses, and has also gotten the reputation for verbally agreeing to terms with wrestlers only for the written contract to come back different. Those tricks might work with the average WWE wrestler, but clearly Brock wouldn’t put up with such crap.” (via CageSideSeats)

The spat could mean that Lesnar’s time with the WWE is up and his presence in the front row of UFC 184 would suggest that the relationship between Dana White and his former heavyweight kingpin is still in good shape.

White would not be drawn on the rumours though and said that he wasn’t able to negotiate with Lesnar just yet.

“Apparently Brock Lesnar is a UFC fan, and he was in town and wanted to come see the fight tonight,” White said. “He’s under contract with the WWE, and when his contract is up, I’m sure he’ll call me.”

It’s an interesting time for the MMA rumour mill though and if Lesnar has recovered from the diverticulitis which forced him away form professional fighting then we’re more than excited at the prospect of seeing a potential rubber match with former rival Frank Mir.
