It looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer to see Conor McGregor on the big screen.
The UFC featherweight champion was expected to feature in Vin Diesel’s upcoming blockbuster xXx sequel, xXx: The Return of Zander, but is reported to have withdrawn from the project to focus on MMA. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto broke the news on Sports Center.
As I mentioned on @SportsCenter, I'm told McGregor has canceled his planned appearance in Vin Diesel's XXX film. Doesn't want distraction.

McGregor last fought at the huge UFC 196 pay-per-view earlier this month, where he suffered his first UFC loss via second round submission to Nate Diaz in the headliner.
Although he was expected to defend his 145 lb throne in his next trip to the Octagon, reports suggest that he has verbally agreed to a welterweight rematch against the Stockton native at the landmark UFC 200 event.
This news was not well received by undisputed lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, who was scheduled to defend his belt against the Notorious at UFC 196, but was forced to pull out on late notice due to a foot injury he sustained in camp.
