And here we are, just 24 hours away from Conor McGregor's debut as a UFC welterweight.

Nate Diaz stands in the Dubliner's way and he is convinced he will be the man to halt the juggernaut. It all kicked off at Thursday's UFC 196 final press conference as McGregor, Diaz and both fighters' camps swarmed the stage. The featherweight champion took aggressive exception to Diaz planting a fist centimetres from his well groomed face. Also weighing in will be UFC women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm and her challenger, Miesha Tate. For Irish fight fans, he fun is set to start just after midnight [4pm in Las Vegas].
