Conor McGregor must be doing some serious work on his quads

The big question is, ‘Did the boys pop that champagne or what?’

Conor McGregor welcomed Straight Blast teammate, and friend, Gunnar Nelson to the ‘McMansion’ in Las Vegas, last night, and dressed for the occasion.

The Icelandic fighter’s arrival was toasted fit and proper – topless and accompanied by freshly popped champagne.

Judging from the picture McGregor posted in the early hours of this morning, he has been seriously working on his leg muscles.

Jose Aldo, who he will challenge for his world title on July 11, is renowned for his viscous leg attacks. McGregor has obviously studied the Brazilian’s latest bouts closely.

Serious definition from The Notorious there.

He will need every bit of muscle he can get, considering what Aldo did to Urijah Faber back in 2010:

As well as beating all comers in style, McGregor has built up a reputation for unveiling a new haircut for each of his UFC bouts.

As he recently told us, ‘I’ve had a few hairstyles. When I first came into the UFC, I had a fat Mohawk. Then I got a short back and sides, then the braids for Dublin… it was the first time I got them. I was watching the first season of The Vikings and I thought “Fucking deadly”.’

We seriously hope, then, that the Irishman goes with this new look, which was trialled near the Las Vegas strip last night.
