The Irish takeover rolls on.

Fox Sports have bought to broadcasting rights for The Notorious documentary which centred around the life of Conor McGregor on his road to getting his UFC title shot.

The US broadcasting behemoths quickly snapped up RTE’s six-part fly on the wall documentary series about the Irish UFC star. The station will air the entire series over six consecutive nights in April.

The Notorious follows McGregor’s preparations for his last three fights in the UFC against Dennis Siver, Dustin Poirier and Diego Brandao respectively which led to him being granted a shot at Jose Aldo’s UFC belt.

Fox Sports decision to purchase the rights to the documentary follows the massive success of their airing of the original one-off The Notorious documentary which they aired in January.

The channel is beamed into over 90 million homes in the US, which means that the documentary is set to be seen by a staggering number of people.
