Conor McGregor jumped from behind as he recovers from loss

Conan Doherty

“That was disgusting.”

Joe Rogan absolutely nailed it after chaos erupted after the UFC 229 main event.

“There were two things that were disgusting: Khabib jumping into the crowd to fight Dillon Danis and Conor McGregor being hit from behind.”

Cowardly.

Conor McGregor is a lot of things. He talks the talk, he riles people up, he steps over the line.

In defeat though, he has always been pure class.

But Khabib Nurmagomedov ruined a brilliant performance when he jumped into the crowd after beating Conor McGregor and started on Dillon Danis.

He beat McGregor, he deserved to. But he tried to go back him after McGregor tapped. He roared abuse at McGregor’s team. And then he jumped out of the Octagon.

Meanwhile, McGregor – still recovering from tapping out – was attacked in the cage.

Dominick Cruz, former bantamweight champion, on co-commentary with Joe Rogan for the UFC, said that Zubaira Tukhugov entered The Octagon and hit McGregor from behind

“Conor didn’t do anything. Conor got jumped.”

The scenes were unbelievable. McGregor was punched in the Octagon before another guy in red jumped the cage and attacked him from behind.
