Jose Aldo has been using this line of mental attack ever since the UFC's Go Big event in October.
The featherweight champion obviously noted Conor McGregor speak of the exhausting nature of hyping fights up and decided to have some fun at his expense.
"Conor is one of my employees," Aldo declares in the latest UFC 194 Embedded.
"His job is to talk, promote and sell the fight. He can talk as much as he wants.
"He's making me money so I'm happy."
That statement is certainly true. The fight that Aldo-McGregor has top billing over an enticing middleweight title fight between Chris Weidman and Luke Rockhold proves that. The Brazilian may well take home more money from this fight than in his previous 11 years in the game.
McGregor is accompanied by Gunnar Nelson and movement coach Ido Portal, during his segment, as he signs autographs and jokes about rejecting a custom-made games console merely because Aldo gets one too.
Meanwhile, Rockhold's balls are in his stomach as he gets to grips with a Las Vegas high-rise and Weidman needs several, several takes to say 'Do you believe in love at first sight?'
