Main event scrapped after former UFC fighter receives backstage disqualification

Cody McKenzie didn't headline Tuff-N-Uffs first pro event.
Former UFC fighter Cody McKenzie was booked to main event Tuff-N-Uff's first ever pro event. The Ultimate Fighter season 12 competitor was supposed to take on JD Domingeaux in the headliner. However, the event went ahead without that fight taking place. https://twitter.com/tuffnuff/status/1034878168371548161 For reasons unknown, McKenzie was disqualified backstage and was unable to compete. Domingeaux issued a statement on his Facebook page regarding the fight being scrapped."My opponent was DQ’d last night by NSAC. As we were walking out they scraped the fight. I’m upset I didn’t get a chance to beat this mans ass last night. Special thanks to my sponsors Josh Thibodeaux and iTiger Phone Repair also Syndicate MMA for preparing me for battle."Interestingly, McKenzie is actually serving an indefinite suspension from NADO Italia. McKenzie was handed the punishment for refusing to provide a sample for a pre-fight drug test for his bout against Stefano Paternò at Venator Kingdom 1 in October 2017. He lost the fight via first-round TKO.
