The biggest week in Irish MMA history is officially underway now that atomweight Catherine Costigan has come in on weight for her Invicta debut bout against Amber Brown.
Limerick’s Costigan (5-0) is looking to extend her undefeated record against Amber Brown (4-1) just two days ahead of UFC 189 which will feature fellow Irish fighters Conor McGregor, Cathal Pendred and Neil Seery.
Invicta 13 is headlined by a featherweight contest between Faith van Duin and Cristiane Cyborg Justino who many believe to be the ultimate test for UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
We expect Costigan to be taking to the cage at around 04:00 Friday morning and her promotional debut can be seen live on UFC Fight Pass.
