Cathal Pendred will be looking to extend his UFC winning streak to four when he takes on Augusto Montano at UFC 188.

Pendred (16-2-1) takes on hometown favourite Montano (15-1) at the Mexico City Arena on the same card as the UFC heavyweight title decider between champion Cain Velasquez and interim holder Fabricio Werdum. "The Punisher" has three fights under his belt with the UFC and has seen off Mike King, Gasan Umalatov and Sean Spencer since his promotional debut last July. Montano, meanwhile, impressed in his first fight with the Las Vegas promotion after he finished Chris Heatherly in the first round last November. One will leave with their first UFC loss after the June 13 welterweight encounter. augusto The other fights added to the card thus far includes a lightweight match-up between Gilbert Melendez and Eddie Alvarez as well as a clash of TUF 20 cast-members when Tecia Torres takes on Angela Hill in a women's strawweight contest.
