Bec Rawlings, quite frankly, speaks her mind.
It’s a trait that has made her a polarising figure in the UFC but regardless of how she’s perceived, the strawweight is never shy to offer her opinion.
Rawlings recently found herself on the wrong end of a gorgeous jumping roundhouse kick from Paige VanZant, a strike that is guaranteed to be replayed on highlight reels for years to come.
The kick visibly rocked Australia’s Rawlings and VanZant pounced, unloading with hammer fists which prompted referee Dan Miragliotta to call a halt to proceedings.

The stoppage appeared justified and there seemed to be little in the way of initial protestations from Rawlings but she’s since vented her disagreement with the referee’s decision.
Rawlings took to Twitter this week to criticise Miragliotta’s call and while she hastened to avoid taking any credit away from VanZant, she was clear in voicing her belief that the stoppage was perhaps slightly premature.
She knew i was fine, Ref didn't give me a chance to fight on. #afightsafight #weinthehurtbusiness https://t.co/rdkE4cSuEZ

What I'm saying is the UFC doctor ruled it as a TKO because i was not unconscious & the ref did me dirty. https://t.co/EW8f6VYLHu
