Patrick Wixted with a strong contender for Knockout of the Night
What a comeback victory for Mark Andrew, likely behind two rounds on the scorecards only to come back and earn a win via guillotine.
Alright then, technical difficulties finally sorted and we're ready to BAMMA the shite out of Saturday night.
Just to recap, we've had four fights with all four finishing inside the distance. It's rather enjoyable.
A more one-sided fight you're never likely to see. Tim Wilde picked Stephen Coll apart for three straight rounds. An argument that it could have been stopped but it wasn't to be. The 30-25 on the scorecards wasn't in the least bit unfair.
Good early pressure from Karl Moore but Paul Craig reversed position.
Oooh, a nasty illegal knee from Craig to a downed Moore but the he's OK to continue
Moore working for a rear naked choke as we approach the final minute of rd. 1
Beautifully defended by Craig as Moore looked to have that sunk in but Bearjew survives. 10-9 Moore on our cards.
What a win for Paul Craig!! The Scot jumped on a guillotine early in the second round and forced the tap from Karl Moore.
Looking forward to this one. Adam Caffrey v Dylan Tuke should be a cracker.
Biggest pop of the night thus far for SBG's Dylan Tuke
What a win for Dylan Tuke!! The SBG youngster with a dominant performance over Adam Caffrey. Was patient with his back mount and got the rear naked choke in the first round.
Huge upset as Rhys McKee gets the submission victory over John Redmond at the end of the first round. An unbelievable entertaining slugfest before it went to the mat and McKee just had more in the end.
Big boys up next as Lukasz Parobiec takes on Johnny Dargan
We never thought that was going the distance! The heavy-handed Lukasz Parobiec puts SBG's Johnny Dargan away in the first round after a succession of undefended strikes on the ground.
Huge knockout victory for Frans Mlambo. He dropped Darren O'Gorman with a ripping right hook, gave the opportunity for the referee to call it before finishing with another couple of shots on the mat.
Turkish delight - tremendous nickname. It truly doesn't get better than that in MMA.
Well that was quick... Sinead Kavanagh stops Hatice Ozyurt in just 17 seconds.
Great start to the round for Myles Price who looks very comfortable on the feet.
Price dropped by an uppercut but intelligently puts Mousah in his guard to earn some recovery time.
Mousah has Myles' back here but the Kilkenny fighter is doing well to defend.
And Price gets Mousah's back. What a reversal.
First round likely goes the way of Kane Mousah as he dropped Price and controlled more of the grappling exchanges.
Mousah with the takedown midway through round two and this fight could be going beyond Price.
Price throws his legs up for a triangle but can't finish and Mousah winds up on top once more.
Price trying valiantly for submissions but Mousah looks too strong and the second probably goes the way of the Brit. 20-18 Kane on our scorecards.
Price looking to set up an inverted triangle in the third to steal a win but his legs are too exhausted to initiate any real squeeze.
20 seconds left and Price is emptying the gas tank trying to get the finish. He probably needs it.
The stoppage wasn't there but it was a great third round from Magic. We await the decision
Mousah takes the unanimous decision victory. It was close but probably the right call.
A bit of Bob Marley never hurt anyone.
WOW!!! One of the nastiest knockouts you'll ever see courtesy of Marc Diakiese!
Conor Cooke and Paul Byrne have just entered the cage. This should be a barnburner.
Huge leg kick out of the traps from Paul Byrne.
Byrne controlling the centre of the cage but the first two minutes have been something of a feeling out process. An exchange of leg kicks and Byrne's look the nastier.
IT'S ALL OVER!!!
Beautiful head-kick. Byrne kept Cooke guessing with low-kicks before going high and dropping the Belfast fighter. Huge win!
A pair of Jacks going at it in the final prelim of the evening
What a knockout!
Jack McGann knocks Jack Grant out with a thunderous right hand to close out the prelims
Could be a long wait for the next bout as we have an hour until the main broadcast kicks off. You know what that means.
Filler. Bucketloads of filler.
Scratch that. They've gone rogue. Not waiting around for anybody and we've got Catherine Costigan v Celine Haga right in front of us. Amazing news.
Costigan v Haga underway and they engage immediately.
Haga weighed in at 114.8 lbs and looks the heavier fighter as she pressures The Alpha Female against the fence
Huge hip throw from Norway's Haga and she's landing some vicious elbows from side control.
Costigan almost gets to her feet but Haga is trying to tie up and look for an arm.
Haga looked to lock up a triangle but has switched to an armbar now. Costigan not panicking and defending well.
It's all over. Costigan almost saw the round out but Haga got the verbal submission with just 15 seconds remaining after patiently working for an armbar.
Regis Sugden v Alan Philpott up next and they saved the pyrotechnics for quite late in the evening, meaning everyone in press row almost shat themselves when all of a sudden there was an explosion of fire.
A very tangible feeling out process going on between Sugden and Philpott. Probably the first of the night.
Philpott gettting the better of the stand-up now as he's letting some kicks go.
First round in the books and not a whole lot happened in it but likely goes the way of Philpott who simply landed more shots.
This fight has the feel of a Taekwondo demonstration. Both lads throwing a lot of spinning techniques. Not a whole lot of damage happening.
Second round was a lot closer with Sugden rocking Philpott more than once but the pair of takedowns for the Ballymena fighter could very well have him 20-18 up going into the final round.
Beautiful switch kick from Philpott but Sugden just eats it.
Not the best fight of the night but, to be fair, there have been some tough acts to follow. Philpott should take this.
Alan Philpott takes the split decision. Let's hope the co-main event is an improvement.
Chris Fields unsurprisingly gets the biggest reception of the night as he takes to the cage to meet Christopher Jacquelin
Chris Fields unsurprisingly gets the biggest reception of the night as he takes to the cage to meet Christopher Jacquelin
After a brief striking exchange, Fields opts to clinch and is searching for the takedown
Fields gets the trip and he's working from Jacquelin's guard.
Jacquelin gets back to his feet and is determinedly trying to take Fields' back but Fields snatches a kimura
Kneebar attempt from the Dubliner but Jacquelin is safe
Fields finds a kimura again and uses it to set up an armbar but SOMEHOW Jacquelin defends. Tremendous grappling defence from Jacquelin.
First round goes to the hometown fighter. Came close to an armbar and a kimura and spent more time on top. 10-9 Fields.
Second round starts and they're back in the clinch with Fields trying to wrap up one of Jacquelin's legs for a trip.
He gets the takedown and Jacquelin almost sweeps but he decides to close his guard and minimise the potential damage
Some vicious elbows from guard from Chris Fields but Jacquelin's looking for a triangle.
It's all over!!!
Fields got too comfortable in Jacquelin's guard and found himself deep in a triangle. The Frenchman gets the submission victory in the second round.
Main event y'all. Tom Duquesnoy takes on Brendan Loughnane to close out BAMMA 22.
The crowd's gone a bit flat, to be honest, after Chris Fields' defeat but Loughnane and Duquesnoy always bring it so looking forward to this.
They used up every bit of the pyrotechnics on Duquesnoy's walkout. Can't be bothered dragging all that back to England.
We're underway in the final fight of the evening. Can Brendan Loughnane dethrone Tom Duquesnoy?
Both fighters land early with the right hand of Loughnane finding a home before Duquesnoy lands a knee.
Duquesnoy dropped!!
The champion is rocked and the end of the first round is descending into a slugfest.
Razor close round that you could give to either guy. Loughnane probably caused more damage but Duquesnoy's forward pressure could trick the judges into giving him the nod.
Early takedown from Duquesnoy and he's working out of the closed guard of the Brit.
Beautiful scramble from Loughnane and he's pressing forward now.
Loughnane in trouble. Duquesnoy landed a hook and a knee that wobbled Brendan's legs but he looks to have recovered.
Duquesnoy won't rest until he lands that pesky spinning back elbow. Third time he's thrown it
An absolute war here that's almost certain to be fight of the night. A nasty exchange of body kicks and Loughnane shoots in on a takedown to no avail.
Another tight round. You'd probably have to give it to Duquesnoy. Landed a takedown at the start, punished with gnp and rocked Loughnane on the feet.
Both lads look exhausted as they're throwing attacks in staccatto style. It's exchange, rest, exchange but Duquesnoy is coming off better.
One factor that could be interesting is the fact that the crowd have cheered every strike Brendan's landed while Duquesnoy is getting no change. Shouldn't influence judging but so often does.
Neither fighter is really pushing right to the final bell with Loughnane exhausted and Duquesnoy happy to defend his likely lead.
I have it 29-28 Duquesnoy but it could easily go to Loughnane by that same score. We await the judges.
Tom Duquesnoy gets the nod on the scorecards and the crowd is not happy!
