The UFC announced last night that heavyweights Roy Nelson and Alistair Overeem would meet at UFC 185 on 14 March which is as exciting a fight that MMA fans could have dreamed of.
Two of the biggest power-punchers in the history of the sport will clash before the meeting of Anthony Pettis and Rafael dos Anjos for the lightweight title on the Dallas card.
Roy Nelson (20-10) is coming off a rare knockout loss to the heavyhitting Mark Hunt while Dutch kickboxer Alistair Overeem (34-8-1NC) just knocked out the 7 ft Stefan Struve last month.
It will be a match-up of arguably the most granite chin in mixed martial arts in "Big Country" and one of the more questionable chins in recent years in "The Reem".
This card is shaping up nicely.
