Brought to you by Sky Bet
Let’s go racing.
We’re half way through the Cheltenham festival and it has already been an emotional rollercoaster.
From Ruby Walsh’s crazy stat showing he really is made of different stuff, to Apple’s Jade letting down a whole host of accumulators, to Ruby Walsh’s heartbreaking injury, there have been ups and downs and twists and turns and we still have two more days to go.
On Thursday, it’s just going to get even bigger and even better.
Thursday, March 15
1.30pm – JLT Chase
Willie Mullins, Nicky Henderson and Gordon Elliot all going head to head in the first televised race of the day and Sky Bet are offering money back as a free bet if you lose, just to get you settled in.
2.10pm – Pertemps Handicap Hurdle
Barry Geraghty riding Glenloe is the bookies favourite at 6/1 but it might be worth having a little sniff at Delta Work who’s currently sitting at 11/1.
2.50pm – Ryanair Chase
Un De Sceaux is fancied to ride out as comfortable winner.
3.30pm – Stayers Hurdle
Supasundae is currently sitting as fourth favourite at 8/1. Any horse trained by Jessica Harrington isn’t to be ignored.
4.10pm – Brown Advisory Plate
Too close to call with so many realistic candidates in contention. Good job Sky Bet are paying for six each way bets instead of four if there are 18 runners or more.
4.50pm – Mares Novices Hurdle
Willie Mullins’ Laurina is odds-on but he also has Salsaretta, Pietralunga and Cut The Mustard running in this one.
5.30pm – Kim Muir Handicap Chase
Patrick Mullins riding Mall Dini is the favourite but Sugar Baron as fifth most fancied is looking tasty.
Treble

- Un De Sceaux (2.50pm) – 8/13
- Sam Spinner (3.30pm) – 10/3
- Laurina (4.50pm) – 4/6
