The Cheltenham Festival is off and running.
Following on from Buveur D’Air winning the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday, day two promises to be another cracking afternoon’s racing.
We’re going to take you through a stacked card on Ladies Day at the festival.
Wednesday, March 14 – Ladies Day
1:30 – Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle
Samcro is expected to live up to the billing and remain undefeated in the first race of the day. Don’t miss out on Sky Bet’s Money Back If You Lose offer on this race.
2:10 – RSA Chase
Presenting Percy is a strong favourite here but Monalee and Black Corton are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
2:50 – Coral Cup
Definitely one of the toughest races to win at the meeting with such a huge field, Max Dynamite and Le Breuil are expected to run well.
3:30 – Champion Chase (feature)
There is a real buzz about Altior after Nicky Henderson confirmed the eight-year-old’s participation but Douvan is surely the horse to beat.
4:10 – Cross Country Chase
Last year’s winner Cause Of Causes is the 11-4 favourite. The Last Samuri is definitely a talent worth looking out for but lacks the cross country experience, while Alan Fleming’s Hurricane Darwin should run well.
4:50 – Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle
One of the toughest races for punters with generally over 20 runners in the Grade 3 Handicap Hurdle.
5:30 – Champion Bumper
Blackbow offers Willie Mullins a strong chance of success in the climactic race on day two, but Acey Milan and Felix Desjy are also strong contenders.
Recommended accumulator with Sky Bet: Samcro (13.30), Presenting Percy (14.10) & Altior (15.30) all to win at 12/1
