It is nearly time for Day 2 of Royal Ascot.
Queen Elizabeth II may be missing out as she gives her speech ahead of the new parliament, but there is top class racing to be had - with the Prince of Wales Stakes the highlight of today's card. Hayley O'Connor of Ladbrokes has a few tips for those fancying a flutter. John Goslin's Daban is her selection in the 2.30 Jersey Stakes. In the 3.05 O'Connor has gone for "speed machine" Happy Like a Fool, while South African raider Smart Call looks a good bet in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes. She is backing Aidan O'Brien to kickstart his festival in the Prince of Wales Stakes, with Breeders' Cup Turf champion Highland Reel O'Connor's tip for the feature race.
