Jarlath Magee from Mayobridge, County Down, successfully gatecrashed the Cadillac Match Play in San Francisco by pretending to be Rory McIlroy’s cousin, who now lives stateside.
US broadcasting behemoths believed the Irishman’s story and even gave “Jarly McIlroy” a brief interview for one of their reports.
